As I’m sure you know, we LOVE UberKate here at Stuff Mums Like. Shes the original and the best when it comes to handmade, personalised jewellery. Her designs are hugely popular with mums everywhere, and she can even boast some celebrity fans; with Monique Wright, Georgie Gardner, Sarah Murdoch, Jessica Rich, Joanna Townsend, Rebecca Harris, Leila McKinnon, Natalie Barr and Melissa Doyle loving her range. To celebrate her 12th anniversary we sat down with her for a quick chat.
Tully has been in her own room now for about 2.5 years and the whole time it has been half finished. I had lots of grand plans, and spent hours pouring over Pinterest images and stalking Petite Vintage Interiors, dreaming of the magical space Tully’s room could be.But, apart from painting the wall pink and putting up her name in letters and hanging these gorgeous balloons above her bed I hadn’t really got any further.
I finally dug out my winter coat last week when it was minus friggin’ five degrees! Ok that’s a bit of an exaggeration but I could have sworn it was nearly close to that when I headed to the park with the boys!!
Luckily for me I have always loved the winter layered look. I felt snug as a bug without resembling something related to the Michelin man and seriously… who wants to add bulk to a post baby body anyway?!
So I thought I would share my simple tips that will have you looking ‘well-layered’ in no time. Here goes.
Everyone in my family has super shiny ‘wash and wear’ hair. They wash it and it air dries in 15 minutes ready to start the day. Me? I have dry hair that isn’t curly or straight. Some days I wash it and it goes into lovely waves. Some days I wash it and it goes into a ball of frizz. Rainy days? Forget it! I often straighten it as I think it looks more professional for work. I have to leave for work at 6:30 am though, it takes about 15 minutes to straighten it, therefore it often ends up in a pony tail or messy bun… and not a stylish one!

I don’t know about you but I’m always mentally redecorating my house. I just keep seeing new things I love! (cushions are my weakness!) so we are very excited to be working with Super Amart to bring you some styling ideas, as well as giving you the chance to win a $250 gift voucher!
Hi- my name is Maraya and I’m a Tupperware-aholic… no seriously I am! There’s nothing I love more than shiny new Tuppware. My husband is trying to bring in a ‘one in- one out’ policy! So you can imagine just how excited I was when Tupperware’s summer range arrived at my doorstep for review!
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Project Ten! If you haven’t heard of them they make gorgeous totes from woven plastic- just like the giant blue Ikea bags- but amazing! They come in different sizes (including the oversize tote, which is about the size of the Ikea bags!) and in fantastic, fun and fashionable colours.
When we were asked by Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to create something beautiful with one of her paint colours, I couldn’t say no! I chose the colour ‘Provence’, because I’m a sucker for anything in the aqua/teal family. Now I just needed the perfect project…
Recently our family celebrated my nephew Mylo’s Naming Ceremony. As we aren’t religious all the kids in our family have a Naming Ceremony instead- a celebration to welcome them into the world, surrounded by family and friends. It’s a great opportunity to get together with everyone and catch up. I was lucky enough to be named as one of his Mentors so it was a a special day for me too!
