Hot cross bun churros recipe
Ingredients
Woolworths Cadbury Milk Chocolate Chips Hot Cross Buns
½ cup milk
¼ cup castor sugar
1 egg

½ cup castor sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Mini chocolate eggs
Method
Take your hot cross buns and roll them flat with a rolling pin
Cut your hot cross bun it into three even pieces
Mix together milk and sugar in a bowl, add your egg and beat until combined.
Once your egg mixture is combined, heat a small amount of butter in a frying pan. Once it’s hot, dip your hot cross bun pieces into the mixture and fry on each side.
Meanwhile, combine the castor sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Once your hot cross bun has cooked, roll it in the cinnamon sugar and set aside.
To dip your hot cross buns churros, remove the foil from your eggs and melt the chocolate. You can do it in the microwave on medium heat for about a minute or so (checking every 30 seconds and stirring) or in a bowl standing in a saucepan with about 2 inches of water. Stir over heat until smooth (never melt chocolate straight on heat.
