What do you think of when you hear the brand name – Medela? I know what I think of – I instantly think of the Medela Double Breast Pump that every breastfeeding Mum covets when she is pregnant. You know the one – the one Kourtney Kardashian proudly wore strapped to herself on one of her many selfies?
Medela has a glowing international reputation of being the go-to for breastfeeding Mum’s – whether it be for breast pumps, bottles and accessories, or for expert advice and education on breastfeeding, tips and tricks for mums to be, newbies and even second, third, forth, time mums.
Medela is truly passionate about helping out mums and has released an amazing App called MyMedela. This App is a true #mumhack and would have saved me my sanity a million times over if it had been around when I had the twins.
With MyMedela, you can create a personal diary for each child and can basically keep track of everything which really comes in handy if you’re like me and fall into that ‘Newborn Bubble’ and Baby Brain pretty much takes over your life!
You can track:
Each breastfeeding attempt
How long you breastfed for
When you expressed milk and how much
Your baby’s growth
Baby’s sleeping patterns (this one is the best when trying to work with a sleeping schedule)
You can even track nappy changes
MyMedela App also provides you with a comprehensive guide to breastfeeding (for those of us who google everything and need REAL reliable information) and provides answers and information on frequently asked questions about all things #mumlife. It’s truly a little hub of information. They have thought of EVERYTHING there is even a problem solver section if you are having issues with your pump.
Looking back at those early days and months when I had the twins and I barely remembered my own name and couldn’t even remember what day it was let alone what time of the year, MyMedela App would have been an awesome lifesaver to add into my routine. I would have much rather referred to the information provided in MyMedela instead of getting all sorts of random tips and advice from Google Doctor and, dare I say it, my mother’s group…
So for all those looking for the perfect tool that helps you feel a little more organised and confident that the information you are receiving is genuinely well-researched insights download MyMedela APP.
This APP is absolutely FREE in the Apple Store and Google Play Store! WINNING!!
We’d love to hear what your favourite thing is about MyMedela, so don’t forget to let us know what you think when you’ve had a go of this awesome tool. Here at Stuff Mums Like we like to nickname the best tools we find as Mum Hacks and I think we have stumbled upon the queen of our Mum hacks with MyMedela app.
