Today we headed off to the Langham Sydney for their Paddington high tea, celebrating the release of Paddington 2. The Langham is my very favourite hotel in Sydney so it wasn't just Tully and her friend Aimee who were excited! We love a high tea and we have been sampling them around the city lately.

High tea was held in the Palm Court, where we were seated at a beautifully set table. The girls were so excited about the teacups and the Paddington 2 activity pages they were given. They were served hot chocolates with marshmallows (of course), and the couldn't wait to see the food!

The food was well worth the wait- it was gorgeous! They did such an amazing job creating Paddington themed treats. There was his suitcase made of cake and caramel, a cookie that looked like his duffle coat, a red coloured chocolate boot filled with banana flavoured chocolate mousse and a Paddington cupcake. In addition, there were tasty savoury options like the mini turkey burger with cheese and the sandwiches, plus scones with jam and cream. It was quite the spread!

I was served the adult's afternoon tea, with sandwiches, a mini quiche, scones with jam and cream, a macaron, a strawberry lamington and several other delicious sweets. It was so much I could barely get through it!

The staff were so lovely to two very excited little girls, providing them with textas to colour with, which kept them busy and entertained for ages.

The Paddington high tea at the Langham Sydney is the perfect special occasion activity for some quality time with the kids. It runs until the 26th January and costs $45pp for the children's afternoon tea (Paddington high tea) and $70pp for the adults' afternoon tea.

The little Paddington bits are divine! My daughter saw the movie and said it was "100 funny". She'd love this.

I'm waiting to see it! Tully went without me. I love Hugh Grant though.
