Family movie nights are one of our most popular family bonding activities. We are all massive movie lovers and we love nothing better than watching movies and then discussing them (sometimes very passionately!). While my husband and the teenagers do a weekly family movie night we also try and include Tully as well. There has been a great range of family movies released recently on DVD and Blu-Ray and one of our favourites is SING!
We just received our copy of SING Special Edition in the mail so this weekend we all sat down for a family movie. I even made some Buster Moon Koala cupcakes for our snacks. Those, plus popcorn were the perfect combo. I love that SING appeals to all of us. My 16-year-old loves it just as much as my five-year-old and even the 18-year-old film student found himself having fun. We had seen it several times at the movies and we all have out favourites. I love Rosita, Zali is team Johnny and Tully loves Rosita and Gunter.
So if you haven’t seen it, SING is created by Illumination, who created Despicable Me (and Minions!), and it’s the story of Buster, a koala with big dreams and a failing theatre, who launches a singing competition to save his theatre. It’s about the star that lives in all of us and you’ll just love the animals so much. It has so many amazing songs from artists like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, George Michael and so many more. You’ll be downloading the soundtrack straight after the film.
SING Special Edition is now available in stores and features three bonus mini movies!
