You know how much I love my Dyson products (I desperately want to try out their new hairdryer!) but I'm super excited to be sharing the Dyson Cinetic Bill Ball with you today. It's the newest in the Dyson barrel vacuum range- and it's pretty special! Here's everything you need to know about it:
Firstly- Dyson's patented ball design means that the vacuum keeps itself upright- none of that tipping over when you yank it around corners. It is also bagless, doesn't lose suction and there are no filters to wash, so you can just empty it straight into the bin and get on with the job.
Now a vacuum is a vacuum, until you get to the attachments- and the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball comes with so many that my son has organised them in a box under his bed (if you think I love Dyson you haven't met him yet- The Dyson Animal is basically his pet and the new Cinetic Big Ball lives in his man cave- I've raised him right and my job here is done!) He is officially in charge of the vacuuming at our place.
So what are the attachments?
Let's go through them:
Carbon Fibre Turbine Floor Tool- Combines nylon bristles and carbon fibre to make sure even the finest dust is removed from the floor.
Combination Tool- This brush and nozzle lifts dirt and gets into the smallest places. I love it for the crevices in the couch and small gaps.
Reach Under Tool- This gets right in there! All those really hard to reach places with an angling head so you don't miss anything. I've been using this under the bed with great results.
Carbon Fibre Soft Dusting Brush- I LOVE this attachment! We have lots of slatted blinds that get dirty and dusty and this is just a wipe over, and because it is vacuuming at the same time it's not throwing dust into the air. This is particularly great for people with allergies.
Stair Tool- Stairs can be tricky because a large vacuum head has trouble getting into the edges- this little tool can get in the edges and vacuum all over the step.
Swivel Hard Floor Tool- If you have mainly hard floors such as wood or tiles then this is what you need. It is narrow and slim to make sure you pick up all the dirt.
Tangle-Free Turbine Tool- The tool you need if you have pets (or teenage girls who shed hair everywhere!) this is the only tool that doesn't wrap the hair and tangle it around the head, instead it releases it straight into the bin thanks to the counter-rotating heads. It's a must have!
So what's the verdict?
Over the past 5 years, I've tried a fair few Dyson vacuums and to be honest, after all the crappy vacuums I've had in the past, I've loved them all. The upright ones are great for the house and the Animal is now part of the family. However, the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball really is in a whole new league of power and if you have a lot of space, with a lot of different flooring types this is the one you need. It's suction and final clean is even better than the upright vacuums (and definitely superior to the cordless stick vacuum, which is more for spot and light cleaning). The inclusion of the attachments means that your vacuum can clean every part of the house and it becomes a multi-use tool for housekeeping.
If you are looking for a vacuum that can take on a large house, large family and pets without breaking a sweat then the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball is the one you need.
