5 ways to serve your Ice cream sandwiches

Ice cream sandwiches are my favourite ice creams – the biscuit and ice cream combo is the BEST! So much so that really my only memory of Disneyland when I was 14 was the ice cream sandwiches. If you are obsessed with them too then here are 5 easy ways you can make your ice cream sandwiches even more amazing!

This post is in collaboration with Woolworths

Woolworths Peppermint & Chocolate Flakes Ice Cream Sandwiches

    Choc chips

    Crushed peanuts

    Paddle pop sticks

    Method

Slice each ice cream sandwich in half.

Insert paddle pop stick in to each one.

Roll or sprinkle with choc chips or crushed nuts.

Mint and Pistachio Ice cream sandwiches

    Ingredients

Woolworths Peppermint & Chocolate Flakes Ice Cream Sandwiches

    Dark chocolate

    Pistachios

    Method

Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave (in 20 second intervals, stirring after each until totally smooth) or place a bowl over a saucepan with about 3 inches of water boiling in it. Don’t let the chocolate come into contact with the water.

    Crush the pistachios.

Use a knife to spread the melted chocolate half way along each side of the biscuits and sprinkle with pistachios. Put in the freezer until chocolate is hard and then serve.

    Ice cream sandwich skewers

    Ingredients

    Woolworths Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches

    Strawberries

    Skewers

    Heart shaped cutter

    Method

Use the heart cutter to cut 2-3 hearts from each ice cream sandwich.

Thread onto skewers, alternating with the strawberries.

You can use anything on the skewers depending on taste. Other fruit pieces or marshmallows are a great alternative.

Roll the sides of your ice cream pieces in the treats until they are fully covered.

    Eat them quickly and enjoy!

Cookies and cream Ice cream cake

5 ways to serve your Ice cream sandwiches

    Ingredients

2x boxes Woolworths Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Sandwiches

1x tub Woolworths Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

    1x Oreos

    Caramel sauce

    Method

Line a loaf tin with foil.

Place four ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of the tin.

Use a spatula to spread the vanilla ice cream over the ice cream sandwiches.

    Repeat layers again.
