If you have a problem with mold, here is how you can get rid of it, without using bleach or other harsh chemicals that could harm your family. Bleach makes mold look and smell like it’s gone, but it doesn’t kill it, so ditch the heavy chemicals and try these or natural solutions instead. Growing up I had a serious allergy to mold, but also to strong chemicals, so I’m well versed removing mold the natural way. So let’s look at the best ways to do this…
One of the ways I plan for Christmas is to start shopping early. And I mean October early! As soon as Christmas is out in the shops, I’m onto it. I start by planning my theme, and then I look for all the pieces that go with it. I’m talking wrapping paper, decorations, table settings – the lot.
My finances are a mess right now. We have overdue debts, a tax bill, school fees and bills coming in left, right and centre! Bills aren’t being paid on time because I keep missing them. They come by email, they come by snail mail, and I’m starting to think they are coming by carrier pigeon as well. Now I’m not a natural saver or even that great with money. I have a strong belief in the ‘Money Fairy’, but she’s really running late right now.
Know that doing your regular 9 to 5 isn’t the only way you can contribute to your family budget. Optimizing our daily or monthly spendings and knowing how to do that can go a long way when it comes to the amount of money you are putting on the side.
Becoming a school mum can be daunting. There is so much more required of you than when you were packing them off to daycare. There are uniforms, sports days, swimming carnivals, extra lessons, readers, library, school plays, lunch boxes and crunch and sip– just to name a few.

I am not a morning person and I hate that morning rush where you are trying to get up and out the door and the kids are whining and no one can find anything and you just end up feeling stressed and exhausted before the day as even begun. Because of this, I’m big on a morning routine- especially once school starts. You can get away with a bit more at preschool but school requires you to be somewhere right on time, with different bags, library books, sports clothes, projects and so on. It’s exhausting. So below is my Kids morning routine checklist- with FREE printable to keep you on track.

We all know just how hard gift wrapping is so that the kids don’t guess what they are getting for Christmas. It’s pretty hard to hide building bricks, DVDs, clothing and books, so thanks to TK Maxx, we chatted to Vivienne Anthon, Australia’s expert gift wrapper from The Daily Wrap.
We all have Christmas traditions from our families growing up and merging traditions can be hard sometimes. Does Santa wrap presents or put them unwrapped in a sack? Do you open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? When we start our own families it can be nice to start our own traditions.
We have pulled together some ideas for you to help you create a magical family Christmas.

My last pregnancy I decided to keep the gender of my bub a surprise. This time I decided to find out specifically so that I could organise clothes and decorate the nursery before the new baby arrived. I knew that I would have much less time on my hands with a second one!
If you want to take the focus off possessions and gifts this Christmas and move it back to family time then the activity advent calendar is just what you need. It takes the traditional advent calendar idea, but instead of a gift or treat your advent calendar contains a Christmas activity to do together as a family.
