My last pregnancy I decided to keep the gender of my bub a surprise. This time I decided to find out specifically so that I could organise clothes and decorate the nursery before the new baby arrived. I knew that I would have much less time on my hands with a second one!

After trawling through Pinterest I decided on a theme of white furniture teamed with grey, pink and pops of gold. We teamed with CHILDSMART to put together a beautiful room for the newest addition to the family.

My first task was to repaint the walls in a soft grey. I have used Ashville which has come out a beautiful warm grey. For the pops of gold that I had envisioned we used Roommates Gold Confetti wall decals which turned out beautifully.

When bub is little I much prefer having them in a bassinet rather than going straight into a cot, it is much more snug! In the below photo I have used the Born With Style Moses Basket and Stand. Ensuring that there is a touch of pink I included a Cocolo Pink Bamboo Blanket and plush knitted owl.

When bub gets a bit bigger it will be time to move her into a cot. Again I have used white furniture as a base teamed with Cocolo grey stripped sheets and linen dust ruffle. For my touch of pink this time I have used the Cocolo Chenille Blanket and plush knitted owl.

For a different look I have used the Cocolo Blooming Hearts range with a fitted cot sheet and change table cover. I finished this off with the Herringbone Blanket in grey.

All these products are such beautiful quality. I can’t wait until my baby girl arrives, she is going to love her new nursery.
