Clarks school shoes were always the shoes I got as a kid. They have been around for as long as I can remember. We were lucky enough to be gifted some Clarks school shoes for Tully, Mylo and Trixie this year (and last year). This year Tully is in year 6 and it's the first time she has opted for the lace up ones. She has always wanted the Mary Jane style before but after trying on the lace ups, she loved them!

We get our shoes fitted but you can also fit them yourselves from home if you want to shop on line. Laura Pennell, Clarks Australian Designer and Product manager, has given us some tips on getting the right school shoes online.
How to buy school shoes online?
Size guides and measuring tips are readily available online from brands like Clarks or retailers such as Shoes and Socks to help you find the best size for your Kids feet
We do always recommend visiting your local Clarks store or retailer to triple check the fit is perfect ahead of that all important first day of School, however, a good way to ascertain a correct fit is to follow the steps below;
STEP 1
Stand up straight on a hard surface with your heel against the wall and a piece of blank paper flush against the wall beneath your foot.
STEP 2
Mark the longest part of your foot on the paper with a pen. Repeat with the other foot, as right and left sizes may be different.
STEP 3
Use a ruler to measure the heel-to-toe length you marked for each foot in CM. You can then match your size using our size guide!
And, if you've ordered online but aren't happy with the fit, or for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, Clarks offer free returns for items over $60 within 28 days of the order date.
