Taking a road trip with kids can either be unbelievably fun… or a new form of torture! I’ve experienced both ends so if you are heading off on a trip these holidays here are the top 5 things you need for a successful road trip with kids.
Bali is one of my all-time favourite places to visit. I’ve been so many times I’ve lost count, but I’d say well over 20! One of my favourite parts of Bali recently is all the beach clubs that have popped up. They bring a whole new level of relaxation and luxury to your holiday and they do it so well over there. To help you relax here are the best beach clubs in Bali (as far as I’m concerned anyway!)
Who needs a beginner’s guide to Disneyland with kids? If you have googled Disneyland I’m sure you have got thousands of results talking about things like FastPasses, Magic Hour and numerous other things. All these that make no sense if you have never been to Disneyland before. Or maybe you’ve been to Disneyland but never done Disneyland with kids. It’s a whole new ball game!
The Sunshine Coast is a very good destination to spend a weekend away or plan an extended holiday. Because of its mild subtropical clime, it is also a year-round destination. It stretches from south Caloundra to North Noosa.
The Sunshine Coast is not only an excellent family friendly destination but also it is a good one to keep it in mind, if you ever can plan a romantic getaway with your partner. Our favourite spot: Noosa Heads. (My advice: Don’t travel to Noosa at its peak season; it loses all its charm).
I was at the park last week when I overheard a gaggle of mums talking about family holidays and how much they hate to travel with kids. This particular conversation in the park had me hooked!
Hervey Bay is in the heart of the Fraser Coast (290km north from Brisbane). For the ones that might not know it, Hervey Bay is one of the best places in Australia for whale watching. Actually, Hervey Bay calls itself the Whale Watching capital of the world. In spite of it, Hervey Bay could be one of those forgotten holiday destinations given
its proximity to the World Heritage listed Fraser Island and due to the fact that the Whale season is in winter.

So I thought I would share what I learned with you guys so you are prepared when you finally get there!
So here some of my New York travel tips and favourite places…

Recently Shoalhaven Tourism invited us to participate in a famil (that’s fancy talk for a visit) to Jervis Bay. Jervis Bay has lately been number one on my wish list of places to visit in Australia. Although it’s only three hours south of us but I’ve never been- but it always looks stunning.
