Style Guide: Stuff Mums love for Summer

Summer style guide

Mums like clothes and I’m a bit obsessed with shopping so I thought I would share my latest loves. I love the fact that all items hide the ridiculous amount of food I ate over Christmas. After having the twins my tummy has never been the same. I shop to cover it. I’m sharing some of my picks that make me feel good and accessories I love! Here’s my style guide for summer!

My 9 latest loves are.

1. Jeanswest Jacie Curve Embracer Shorts – $59.99

Summer style guide
Great value. Wash like a dream. Hide the 15 blocks of Brie I ate over Christmas. Short enough to not make me feel 60 years old but long enough to not show what I had for breakfast. Just like it says on the label, they work my curves.

I also suscribe to Jeanswest as they do AMAZING sales all.the.time. #winning

I’m a standard size 12 and the 12 fits perfectly.

2. Frankie 4 Margie Sandals – $209.95

After years of wearing crap – I mean cheap shoes – I thank god that someone invented a shoe that lasts more than a season. Running after 3 kids I need GOOD shoes. Classic and timeless and worth every.single.penny.

I loved loved loved the Georgies last year. I Just scored a pair of the Frankie 4 Margie Sandals.  Even the kid’s teacher complimented them! I may look rough at 8.30am but my feet look good. #socomfy

I’m a small AU7 and I wear the AU7 in Frankie 4 footwear.

4. Witchery Knot Front Tee – $49.95

I live on Sydney’s northern beaches. It’s a rule if your rich and own a yacht that you MUST wear stripes. I’m poor so I fake it and still wear them.

Witchery have this stripy top that not only makes me look loaded but hides the belly. Great quality and washes like a dream.

I’m a size 12 I bought the M – it’s loose but I prefer that.

5. Sportsgirl Tiered Maxi – $119.95

I only wanted to buy one long dress this season and this baby sang out to me at my local Sportsgirl.  At the old age of 34 I don’t often venture into Sportsgirl but I headlocked the 3 kids in a trolley and tried this on. It hides EVERY LUMP and BUMP. Also had adjustable straps. It’s floaty in that ‘I’m so cool and lovely’ way with a print that won’t go out of style in a flash. It’s actually a “midi” so not too long for my 5ft4 height. And The husband LOVED IT. #hotmumma

I’m a 12 and I bought the 10.

6. Jeanswest Sandy Hat – $24.95

Mums – LEAVE YOUR HAT ON. Sun gives you wrinkles! With this causal number you will want to keep it on PLUS everyone looks hot in a beach snap with a hat on.  I’ve tried and tested many this season and let me tell you this is an investment. Stay away from the cheap nasty ones.  #nowrinkles

One size fits most heads.

7. Witchery Adrienne Tote – $99.95

Buy it once. Do it right. I hate swapping bags and I’m a firm believer in buying a big bag you can chuck all your crap in that goes from day to night but can also visit the beach if required.  This baby makes me feel sparkly but is very useful.  #minesfullofcrap

8. Target Tassel Dress – $35

Everyone loves a tassel right? This super fun dress not only hides all my lumps it can also be a beachy number or a dinner number teamed with the right shoes.  This is a FUN LBD to have in the wardrobe and a perfect holiday dress.

I’m a 12 and I bought the 12 which was loose – just how I like it.

9. Mix Basic Shorts – $15

I own these shorts in 3 colours. They are comfy and great value.  What is even better is the fact that I can pick a pair up while buying the groceries at Coles.  Mix is my secret go-to for basics and these shorts are FAB!!! #bargain

I’m a 12 – bought the 10 which is a little loose but works for me.

Have you tried any of these? Any amazing bargains I need to know about??

All opinions are my own. Some items gifted for editoral review. Some my husband treated me to. Some I pretended to have in my wardrobe but lied…. #confessionsofashopaholic
