Coming into Christmas, there are so many times when you need Christmas food. Whether it be for class Christmas parties, end of year celebrations or your own Christmas events, you always need something quick and easy in your repertoire for this time of year. Rudolph Brownies

    6 Kids Christmas Food Ideas

    Ingredients

    1 box Woolworths Brownie mix

    Mini Woolworths Candy Canes

    Jaffas

    Smarties or M&Ms

A small amount of chocolate icing

    Method

These Rudolph Brownies really are so cute (and easy). Just mix the brownie mix as per the packet instructions and bake in a round tin. When the brownies are ready, tip them from the tin and cool on the bench.

Once the brownies are cool, cut them into eight equal triangles. Insert the candy canes as antlers and, using the chocolate icing, stick the M&Ms or Smarties as eyes and the Jaffa as a nose at the tip of your triangle! Super cute, easy and fun!

    Chocolate Snowballs

    6 Kids Christmas Food Ideas

    Ingredients

1 packet of plain chocolate biscuits

1 tin of Woolworths condensed milk

    Desiccated coconut

    Method

Crush biscuits in blender/ food processor (but not too fine)

Combine with condensed milk and roll into balls.

Roll balls in coconut and refrigerate.

Now, these may not look as fancy as some of the other recipes, but they are THE absolute favourite in our household and a massive hit at any party. They are always the first thing gone. Also, if you are making these with the kids, it is way more fun to put the biscuits in a plastic bag (double bag them though!) and then jump on the bag until the biscuits are crushed. It’s very satisfying!

    Rocky Road Puddings

    6 Kids Christmas Food Ideas

    Ingredients

Woolworths Rocky Road Mallow Biscuits  (there are 8 in a pack so buy as many as you need)

    White chocolate

    Jaffas

    Method

These are the easiest of easy. Just melt the white chocolate, place a teaspoon of it on top of the biscuits and then add a Jaffa on top. Instant Christmas pudding.

Note: These Rocky Road biscuits do contain nuts so if you are making these for school or for somewhere you don’t know all the kids and their allergies, I would use a biscuit like the Chocolate Royale instead, which doesn’t contain nuts.

    Rudolph biscuits

    6 Kids Christmas Food Ideas

    Ingredients

    Woolworths Milk Arrowroot biscuits

    Chocolate icing

    M&Ms or Smarties

    Woolworths Christmas Pretzels

    Jaffas

    Method

These biscuits are great to take to a kids’ Christmas party or to school, but they are also a great activity to do with the kids during the holidays. All you need to do is ice the biscuit with the chocolate icing, add the pretzels for antlers, the M&Ms or Smarties for eyes and the Jaffas for Rudolph’s bright and shiny nose!

    Reindeer Mix

    6 Kids Christmas Food Ideas

    Ingredients

    Woolworths Christmas Pretzels

    Caramel popcorn

    Maltesers

    Christmas M&Ms

    A dusting of icing sugar

    Method

The easiest, five second Christmas treat for all of you who forgot until the last minute! Mix all of the above ingredients in a bowl and dust with the icing sugar for the ultimate Reindeer trail mix! You could even leave this out for Rudolph on Christmas Eve!

    Christmas Tree Cookies

    6 Kids Christmas Food Ideas

    Ingredients

Woolworths Tree-Shaped Ginger Shortbread (in the bakery section)

    Icing

    Mini m&ms

    Method

If you want to look like you just whipped up some freshly baked cookies for the school Christmas concert, then this one is for you. Just pick up some of these ginger shortbread Christmas trees and pipe some icing to look like the string of lights. Add the mini m&ms as lights and a yellow one on top like a star and you’re ready to go.

I hope you enjoy these yummy Christmas treats as much as we do. Have a magical Christmas!
