    Reindeer biscuits

I love Christmas baking- it's one of my favourite things about Christmas. There are so many cute ideas and it's a chance to get creative. There is no end to the number of occasions you can bake for as well- class parties, preschool parties, Christmas parties and more. Every year I host a kids' christmas party for a group of friends- we all bring something to eat and a craft activity and Santa comes and all the kids get a present. It's one of my favourite parts of Christmas- it's so nice watching the kids grow up together and we are creating wonderful memories for them.

With this in mind we have been hard at work in the Stuff Mums Like kitchen creating these little pieces of heaven- reindeer Christmas biscuits! They taste delicious and they look SO cute! They are going to be my contribution for the kids' Christmas party this year!

    Ingredients

    190g of unsalted butter, softened

    180g of brown sugar

    3 teaspoons of vanilla paste

    310g of plain flour

    2 teaspoon of cornflour

    1.5 teaspoon of baking powder

    1 large egg

    Decorating ingredients

    1 tube of Christmas M&M’s

    Small chocolate chips

    Pretzels

    Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees, line two baking trays with baking paper

Place butter, sugar and vanilla into a bowl. Mix until creamed, it might take a few minutes depending on how fast your mixer can go

Add remaining ingredients, and combined until a dough is forms.

Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking tray, allow room for spreading. Make a small indent with your thumb for the nose.

    Bake approximatively 10 minutes.

While the cookies are baking, break your pretzel gently to form small antlers.

Remove cookies from the oven and let them cool for a little bit.

Decorate your cookies while they are still a little bit warm, it will make the chocolate chips and M&M’s stick to you dough.

And there you have it- the cutest biscuits on the Christmas table! You can serve them up on a plate or package them in little boxes as gifts.

We hope you love our reindeer Christmas biscuits as much as we do!
