Out and About- at Cotton On Kids Sleepwear Launch

Published: Feb 12, 2015 · Modified: Apr 21, 2015 by Maraya · This post may contain affiliate links · 1 Comment

IMG_7167One of my favourite things about doing Stuff Mums Like is the opportunity to work with the Cotton On brands- especially Cotton On Kids. As well as being one of my favourite kids' clothing brands, I love the ethos behind the brand and how the Cotton On Foundation is such a big part of the company.

This week some other bloggers and I was invited down to the head office in Geelong for the launch of the new Cotton On Kids sleepwear. This was an important one for Cotton On Kids because they have done a redesign on their sleepwear, after feedback from buyers found that the previous were designs were too snug in regular sizes.

We arrived at the head office to watch a sleepwear fashion show with some of the cutest kids we've seen! They were rocking it on the catwalk- showing off the super cute new designs with style and attitude.

We chatted with sleepwear designer Amber, about the changes they have made to the new range. While still adhering to the strictest Australian safety standards for cotton sleepwear, the new range has looser, easy stretch cuffs on the feet and wrists, to help making getting dressed easier. Now when buying sleepwear the sizes are the same as your regular Cotton On Kids sizing- so there will be no confusion.

The new styles are gorgeous, with some extra whimsy in the shape of added accessories, such as a bunny mask and tail and a kitten mask and tail- perfect for dress ups! The new dressing gowns capture the imagination with pull down hoods that double as character eye masks, and cute embellishments such as wings on the back.

After an amazing lunch with the designer and PR and Marketing team we were given gift bags with some pyjamas and we were loaded onto the Cotton On party bus to head to their local Cotton On Kids- which just happens to be the biggest store in Australia! (and about 5 times bigger than my local one!). We were given gift vouchers to shop with and it was a case of bloggers gone wild when we couldn't get enough off al the amazing, new season outfits!

What a day! We were loaded up and exhausted after so much fun as we headed back to the airport to return to Sydney. The Cotton On events are always so much fun, and this was no exception. Thanks Cotton On Kids and we will see you soon!
