    Pretzel Wreaths for Christmas

Published: Dec 6, 2023 · Modified: Dec 6, 2023 by Maraya · This post may contain affiliate links · 2 Comments

These pretzel wreaths are so easy to make and they look so cute! They are perfect for your Christmas place settings, Christmas gifts and for Christmas parties!

They are no bake and you only need a few ingredients, that are all available at your local supermarket.

    Ingredients

Pretzels (I get the dark blue bag of Parkers Pretzels - the light blue bag is the mixed shapes and they don't have the look I want).

    White chocolate

Jaffas (or even just red M&Ms)

    Mint leaves

    Green food colouring gel

How to make the pretzel wreaths

Melt your chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a saucepan of water. Once it's melted, add a few drops of food colouring gel. (the gel is much better than the liquid for colour and consistency).

Dip your pretzels half in the chocolate, leaving the two looped bits undipped, as the outside of the wreath.

Place them in a circle, making sure the sides are touching so that the chocolate can set together,

Once you have a circle, start again, placing dipped pretzels on top of the first layer, but place the new layer in the middle of the pretzels in the bottom layer, a bit like the way bricks are laid. This alternating pattern will hold them together when the chocolate sets.

Then, attach your Jaffa or red M&M and the mint leaves at the bottom to complete your pretzel wreaths!
