Last year my husband stepped out of our comfort zone of a nice salary and decided to work for himself. After we popped the champers on winning our first contract it suddenly dawned on me the responsibility this will hold for me. What it will mean for us.
Today:
I'm a bookkeeper, I'm the marketing department, I'm the HR department, I'm the accounts payable, I'm the receptionist, I'm the contract administration.
I'm also a wife, I'm a homemaker. I'm a mother.
I found out pretty quickly there is one way to learn a lot of this. That's the hard way. I fucked up. I ordered wrong doors, I sat up too late, I paid the wrong suppliers, I forgot to place orders, lost paper work, we had fights, I cried a few hundred times too many.
In between all this I started the Business Mamas course. It was presented to me and I thought well I can't really get any worse. This might help.
