Back to School - Bobux School Shoes

It's back to school time - which means school shoe shopping! This year Tully is heading in to year two and Mylo is starting school - he's so excited. As we were preparing to do our back to school shopping and keeping an eye out for the bargains, we saw something that made as actually squeal! Our very favourite shoe range, Bobux, is now doing a school shoe range!

Tully has been wearing Bobux since she started walking, there's nothing that compares. Their flexible rubber soles are far better for kids' developing feet than a solid sole. My husband is a runner so knows a lot about shoes and how they work on feet and flexible soles were his number one must have when Tully started walking. We discovered Bobux and thats been our shoe for the past nearly 7 years.

Getting Fitted for School Shoes

The Bobux school shoe range is currently exclusive to Shoes & Sox so we headed off this morning to get fitted. We were served by Daniella at the Warringah Mall store and what a delight she was. When shopping for kids' shoes, it's essential that they are properly fitted. Poorly fitting shoes can affect their foot development and cause problems later on. They don't just have to fit lengthways, but also be the right width.

Daniella was fantastic with the kids, measuring their feet thoroughly, finding the right fit for them and checking and double checking the fit, width and growing space. She asked them lots of questions about how the shoes fit and feel and encouraged them to run around the shop to make sure they fit well and were comfortable. All the Shoes + Sox staff are qualified in fitting children's shoes and know how to make sure they are the right fit for every kid.

Choosing our Bobux school shoes

Tully went for the Kid+ Piper Mary-Jane in the new Bobux school shoe range. This style has full leather lining and uppers, the Bobux flexible rubber soles, and the signature Bobux wide toe, fully reinforced.

Mylo chose the Kid+ Scout Double Strap shoes. They have a full leather lining and uppers, the Bobux flexible rubber soles and a double velcro strap for easy fastening. They have the wider toe as well, for extra space and growing room.

The kids were so excited to have their new school shoes!
