    Getting organised with CoSchedule

Published: Aug 18, 2015 · Modified: Jan 11, 2016 by Maraya · This post may contain affiliate links · 1 Comment

CoScheduleIf you follow a lot of blogs you may have seen that almost every blogger in Australia descended on the Gold Coast last weekend for ProBlogger- a massive annual blogging conference. This was the first time I have been and it was fantastic. I took home so much from it but my main goal is to be more organised.

As mums, whether you are bloggers as well or not, you all understand the struggle of keeping on top of everything. Lately I've been juggling three different publicity jobs, this blog, my business degree with Business Mamas, and of course my family. Sometimes I'm so overwhelmed I don't know where to start.

One of the things some of the other bloggers introduced me to is CoShedule. It's a website, but oh so much more!!! It creates me my own calendar where I can schedule all my blog posts to role out, manage all my social media and speak to my team about what they have due and when. I can create draft blog posts, work on them and then drag and drop them when I want them to be published. I can then set it so that they are posted straight to my social media accounts as well.

As bloggers we spend a lot of time creating 'evergreen' content. This is content that will stay relevant, and here at Stuff Mums Like we try our hardest to make most of our content evergreen. With CoSchedule you can even schedule your evergreen content to repost to your social media in a month, six months, or even a year from now!

Lynsey and I may work together but we go weeks without seeing each other and often our phone calls are interrupted by screaming children. CoShedule is creating me my perfect remote office. I can delegate blog posts, schedule who needs to have what in and when and make a list of tasks that need doing.

If you think it sounds complicated and confusing it's really not. There are a series of video tutorials and they show you what to do every step of the way. The interface is really user friendly and Garrett, the creator is personally on hand to help you with anything you need. The team are always in touch, checking if you need anything and they get back to you really fast if you have an enquiry.

So if you blog or run a business online I can seriously recommend CoShedule. They have a free 14 day trial and they are happy to extend it for you if you think you need a bit more time to learn your way around it before you commit.

You can check out the below video to see how it works for yourself.

So if you need things to change in the way you manage your work make sure you head to www.coschedule.com and give their 14 day trial a go.
