A Festive Three Cheese Cob Loaf Dip

Who likes cob dip? I love them so much - and they are so easy to make!

This cob loaf is a three cheese one that is perfect for when you have friends around over the festive season, and I've given it a festive twist!

A Festive Three Cheese Cob Loaf Dip

    You will need:

1 cob loaf ½ bag Woolworths shredded cheese

½ a wheel of Thomas Dux Triple Cream Brie

½ block of Thomas Dux Parmigiano Reggiano

    1 tub sour cream

    1 bunch spring onion shallots

How to make your cob dip Christmasy!

Firstly, you need a good, sharp knife that will cut bread.

Outline a Christmas tree shape on your bread cob and then use the knife to cut the shape out.

Preheat your oven to 160 degrees and set the shelf to the middle.

Once you have your tree shape, remove all the bread from inside the loaf and store it in an airtight container.

Grate the Parmigiano Reggiano (I do it on speed 10 in the Thermomix but you can just grate it by hand).

Slice the brie into thin slices.

Combine all the cheeses with the sour cream in a bowl and then mix.

Chop your shallots and then stir them into the mixture.

Fill your bread cob with the mixture. Really squash it in because it is going to feel like you might have too much, but you dont! It will melt so keep squeezing it all in.

A Festive Three Cheese Cob Loaf Dip

Place the cob on an oven tray and cook for about 30 minutes, or until the cheeses are fully melted (give it a little stir to check the bottom is melted too)

Serve with the bread from the inside, and some chopped veggies if you like as well!
