    Creative Play with Playmais

Published: Apr 28, 2015 · Modified: Aug 24, 2015 by Maraya · This post may contain affiliate links · 1 Comment

IMG_7495When we visited the Kids InStyle expo we discovered Playmais! They are a new craft activity made from maize, water and food colouring. They are a lot like the packing beans you get with parcels, but non toxic and brightly coloured.

They come in boxes and buckets and you can create 2D mosaics and 3D constructions- you are limited only by your imagination. They stick together with a dab of water and as you can see in the pic above you can create some pretty fun things. Tully and Zali worked together to create these Disney Princesses- it was so much fun.

IMG_8367Playmais are great for fine motor skills and encouraging creativity. They are also perfect for independent play because they are 100% safe and easy to use. We use them to sort into colours, sizes and create scenarios that encourage imaginative play. They are a great opener into creative stories and learning.

Because we love Playmais so much we are giving you the chance to WIN some of your own. We have three prize packs to give away. 2 winners will each receive a 1000 piece Playmais Basic bucket, valued at $49.95 and 1 winner will take home a Playmais World Farm Set, worth $45.95. www.playmais-australia.com.au www.facebook.com/PlayMaisAustralia

Winters here and lots of indoor play is on its way...
Playmais would keep little fingers occupied while little creative mind run wild while its miserable outside!
