Tully is SO excited about Halloween this year. Every morning she wakes up, puts her face close to mine and says, "is it Halloween yet?". Because Halloween is on a Saturday this year we are taking the opportunity to have a few little kids over for a Halloween party. From what I hear, quite a few people are doing the same so I thought I would share with you a few of my super easy Halloween party ideas.
I've been buying up bits and pieces as I go and I've put together this little table idea. I don't want to go all out but I want the kids to have fun!
Halloween Party Ideas
For the set up I've used the Partylite symmetry trio set and filled them partly with black lentils (because they are cheap and look a bit creepy!) I filled the middle one with super cute Halloween themed photo booth props that the kids can have fun playing with. I found these at my local $2 shop (Warringah Mall if you're local to me!) In the others I put Natural Confectionary Snakes (give them a bit of a stretch first though) and Halloween chocolates I found at Target.
I made basic vanilla cupcakes. Greens has a good pack if you're not a fan of making them from scratch. I just tinted icing orange and used the Wilson cake decorating pens from Woolworths to draw on them. You could also have this as an activity for the kids to do at the party.
The sandwiches are cut with cookie cutters. A few years ago I bought a big tub of them from Aldi and they have lots of themed ones that I use for different occasions. How cute is the pumpkin mandarin?!! You've probably seen them floating around on Pinterest- they are so quick and a great healthy Halloween treat.
The jellybean test tubes are Schmick brand and they can be found at most $2 shops with a good party section. Mine were at Bins at Warriewood Square and they come in lots of colours.
I hope this helps you all! Have a happy Halloween!!! xxx
