Last night we were lucky enough to attend the premiere of the new Australian film- Paper Planes- starring Ed Oxenbould and Sam Worthington. The premiere was held at the Moonlight Cinema in Centennial Park and it was the perfect night for it!
When we arrived the stars were walking the red carpet- Tahrin nearly had a fit because David Wenham was there and Tahrin is a LOTR fanatic. I did a sneaky pop on to get a pic with the super cute Ed Oxenbould, the star of the film.
When we arrived were were treated to food and drink in a little section of the grounds and then we were shown to our seats- none of the picnic blankets and awkward seats for us! This time around we were treated to the big bean bags, with a drink and a choc top to munch on as we settled in.
It was a gorgeous night- so warm and perfect for lying under the stars. I'd been waiting to see Paper Planes for a while, we all thought it looked great. Well we weren't disappointed! The story of a little boy from rural Australia that discovers that he has a talent for paper plane flying, its the perfect family movie for the holidays.
So if you are looking for a great movie to take the kids to this holidays Paper Planes will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Little Ed Oxenbould, who stole the show in Puberty Blues and also starred these holidays in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, is great in the lead role- I love him!
Paper Planes will be released nationally on the 15th January 2015. To find out more visit www.paperplanesmovie.com.au
