When I got the opportunity to review PicPal I must say I was quite excited. I confess I am a lover of all things 'selfie' related and this app is sharing/selfies/updates all rolled into one. It's so easy to use and the app is free! (Who doesn't love a freebie?) It's very easy to navigate with little instructive notes that flash up helping you each step of the way to get you ready to happy snap until your hearts content.
Let's face it, being a mum and a work from home mum can sometimes leave you feeling a little out of touch with the outside world. This app is fun and quick for a few seconds of entertainment between you and your friends. I simply added my friends, you can do this easily as the app syncs straight to your Facebook friends list. Either search, or invite via iMessage or Facebook. Once you have a group, you simply each take a selfie and it creates a collage / story board! It's great for sharing moments such as mine '#mumlife' and can give you a little peek into what your friends days are looking like.
I loved the selfie editor (who doesn't need filters after 3 hours sleep and deadlines to meet before school pickup). There are great filters to choose from, as well as features like crop, lighting, draw, sharpness and even a blemish eraser (best feature ever!) and you can add text to your photo too. What I love about Picpal are there is no time consuming upload waiting times or confusing editing tools. You simply click a selfie, edit if you wish and it adds it straight to your collage. You can change your photo as many times as you like with new updates (see me and Maraya guilty as charged eating chocolate before noon!) You can even comment below your collage for a real time conversation about the photos above! #mumlife
PicPal is a fun, quick and easy app to keep visually updated with friends during the day. Share your parenting fails, the highs and the lows- because even mums deserve to have a bit of fun too!
