Tully turned three in April and for the nine months beforehand she had her heart set on a unicorn party- she was completely unwavering about the whole thing. So I set out to create her the most amazing rainbow unicorn birthday party ever- including getting some unicorns to come along!
I decided to incorporate some pastel rainbow elements (because they are my favourite colours!) and I wanted it to be bright and colourful. I had the printables created by Elizabeth from Lemonberry Moon and then based the rest of the table around them.
My lovely friend (and creator of all Tully's parties!) Linda from Ever So Sweet Lolly Buffets and Event Styling worked out the table design and her friend Leanne from Cakes By Leanne created the super cute rainbow and unicorn cookies. The mini cupcakes are from my favourite ever cupcake shop- My Little Cupcake in Neutral Bay.
I wanted to do something a bit different for the lolly bags, something that the kids could take home and remember, so I sourced some plush unicorns from Amazon and put them in a party bag with a few little things. They also made a great table decoration!
The AMAZING rainbow layer cake was the table centrepiece and was absolute perfection. It was made by Karyn from Sweet n Pretty and she did such and amazing job! It was displayed in a custom cake stand by Ever the Dreamer (who also created the gorgeous unicorn headband in the top picture). We ended up with about 20 kids, ageing from 1-7, and the party was held in our backyard. We had Premiere Pony Parties send four horses, ranging from the miniature 'unicorn' above to a full sized horse! Tully and her guests couldn't believe their eyes when a unicorn arrived!
All in all the party was a huge success- Tully is still talking about it a month later. Now she's planning her 4th birthday- apparently she wants elephants. Any one know an elephant handler...?

Happy Birthday Tully! The party and rainbow treats look amazing. Its only a few weeks until I attempt to make a rainbow cake for a very special girl of my own.

Hi! Elizabeth from https://www.etsy.com/shop/LemonberryMoon designed it for me and I had it printed as a banner at my local printer.
