We know that mums NEED COFFEE! So this Friday (20th March) and Saturday (21st March) make sure when you need your fix head off to Gloria Jean's Coffees and help them raise as much money as possible for Variety- the Children's Charity at their national fundraising event, Cappuccino for a Cause.
This community event will take place in Gloria Jean's coffee houses nationwide and money raised will help build the futures of Aussie kids in need. For the first 65,000 cappuccinos sold over the two days, Gloria Jean's will donate $1 from every cappuccino after which the donation amount will return to 50c for each cappuccino sold. Gloria Jean's will also be donating 40c from each chocolate heart cupcake sold. So if you need an excuse to buy yourself a treat then this is it!
The money raised will go to helping kids like twelve year old twins, Joanne and Julian who have Cerebral Palsy, and were selected to represent the Targeting Tokyo Shadow Squad (the Paralympic Preparation Program) for Boccia, in 2014. The Variety Scholarship, supported by funds from Gloria Jean’s Coffees, has allowed the twins to have one-on-one sessions with a Boccia coach, improving their skills and their futures.
So if you want a guilt free cappuccino and a cupcake head to Gloria Jean's Coffees this Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of March and treat yourself- knowing it's all going to a good cause!
