Going from toddler to pre school kids can bring a few changes that as a mum I thought I had figured out.
One of the biggest considerations I had was taking my little man out of his car seat. I loved the security the car seat had given and I was hesitant to change. Mr J growing taller by the day it was a necessary change I had to make.
Putting in the research I started to investigate which booster seat would fit my requirements but also tick all the boxes.
I found the Britax Tourer booster seat and was really happy with their advertised features:
The deep lined headrest provides the best protection for Mr Js head.
The Tourer has been made with great consideration to a growing little body sitting it in and has the headrest in just the right place.
The "Slide Guard" sash guide ensures the seat belt is correctly positioned across his chest and shoulder. The Tourer’s quick to remove washable was just an added bonus!
I also really like the shape and size of the booster seat. It effortlessly fitted along side the other two car seats I have in the car for my twins. I was really worried I may have to buy a 7 seater if it didn't fit.
Now the seat was fitted it was time to properly road test it...
We popped Mr J in it for an afternoon shopping trip. I was worried he wouldn't like the change from his old car seat but once he jumped into the car and whipped out a dinosaur book I could see he was really happy and comfortable. I explained using the seat belt made him just like daddy and now he's "a big boy". The handy slide guard clip to safely keep the seatbelt in place was a perfect to keep Mr J from fiddling. Getting him in and out of the car was much easier during the trip and the big bonus was that he found it comfy enough for a disco nap on the way home. WIN!!
My verdict is that the Britax Tourer Booster Seat fits perfectly in my car and it has the tick of approval from Mr J. I would definitely recommend this seat and purchase it for my twins.
